We are not a pharmacy
Frontera Rx is an independent price-comparison resource. We do not sell, dispense, ship, or broker medication of any kind, and we are not affiliated with any pharmacy, manufacturer, or distributor named on this site. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell you medication.
This is not medical advice
We don't provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Information about a medication's typical use is provided for general reference only. Never start, stop, switch, or change the dose of any medication based on information from this site — talk to a licensed doctor or pharmacist first.
Prices can and do change
Prices shown on Frontera Rx are collected periodically from pharmacy websites and public pricing sources. They are not real-time. Actual prices can differ from what's shown here due to exchange-rate movement, promotions, stock availability, or changes at the pharmacy since we last checked. Each price listing shows the date it was collected — always confirm the current price directly with the pharmacy before you buy or travel, and treat prices as a starting point for comparison, not a quote.
How we calculate savings
Where we show a percentage savings figure, it compares the price per unit (per tablet, capsule, etc.) between what we've found in Mexico and in the USA for the same active ingredient, strength, and form — generic compared against generic, brand against brand, never mixed. Where we don't have reliable data on both sides, or where the US price happens to be lower for that specific product, we say so rather than showing a savings figure that wouldn't be accurate for that page. A confidence label (high / moderate / limited / none) next to every comparison reflects how many pharmacies that figure is based on.
*NADAC markup is a reference figure: how many times higher a US retail price is than the National Average Drug Acquisition Cost (NADAC), a public wholesale benchmark published by the US government. It reflects one factor in how US retail drug prices are set; we show it as neutral background information, not as a judgment about any pharmacy or program.
Buying medication across the US–Mexico border
Importing prescription medication into the US for personal use involves rules enforced by the FDA and US Customs and Border Protection that can depend on the specific medication, quantity, and your documentation. See our buying guide for a general overview and our legal & FDA import guide for the specific rules on quantities and controlled substances, and confirm current requirements with those agencies, or a customs attorney, before you travel with medication. This site does not provide legal advice.
